I have been teaching IGCSE biology for more than 2 years - both the EDEXCEL and Cambridge curricula - and have all around experience in teaching the subject in an effective and efficient way. I make sure the children are engaged in the class and also during private one to one sessions. I also have experience in distant learning via zoom, which I was trained to do during the Covid 19 pandemic.

I carry out interactive sessions with students, where they are free to ask questions about doubts or even things that can fascinate them with regards to the lesson. I believe in nurturing the thinking ability of students, and building the ability to think for themselves. With the end of each section, there will be one paper which the student has to do so I have a better idea where the student stands with regards to the lessons and concepts taught. The paper will be discussed and the progress will be recorded so the journey of the student can be tracked.

I teach in a fun, interactive way and I aim to break the stigma around the subject biology where it has been labelled as a boring, hard to learn subject. Biology is everywhere. My goal is to spark an interest in the student towards the subject so they would want to learn the subject themselves. I am also patient, compassionate and I communicate well so I hope to help your kid through their journey in Biology!
