My lessons are supportive, structured, and designed to help every learner feel confident and capable. I create a calm and inclusive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and develop at their own pace. Each session follows a clear format: a short introduction to review previous learning, step-by-step teaching of new content, guided practice, and time for reflection and feedback.
I use a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles, including visual aids, practical activities, discussion, and digital tools. I break information into manageable steps and use real-life examples to make learning meaningful and relatable. Where helpful, I incorporate assistive technology and structured templates to support organisation, reading, and writing.
My lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. Students are encouraged to participate, share ideas, and work collaboratively where appropriate. I pay close attention to individual needs and adapt tasks to ensure the right level of challenge and support. Positive reinforcement and clear expectations help maintain focus and motivation.
With experience supporting learners with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences, I understand that everyone learns differently. I focus on building independence, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence, not just subject knowledge. My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling more capable, more prepared, and more confident in their abilities.
