My lessons are not lectures where a student can sit passively. I ensure that my learners are thinking at all times, answering questions, completing exercises, making decisions, demonstrating their awareness, understanding and ability to apply their learning.

I am highly adept at helping people learn remotely - via online meetings or video calls.

I have over 30 years experience of successfully training people in:
~ a wide range of personal development topics (e.g. time management, goal setting, presentation skills, and getting your message across in writing.)
~ a wide range of management skills (e.g. goal setting, motivating people, managing performance and managing upwards.)
~ a lot of 'technical' content working with Subject Matter Experts to understand the requirements that the audience needed and which of the content was needed by whom.

As a trained mentor and coach, as well as a group 'teacher' I combine my skills beyond the traditional 'classroom' environment.

I have mentored:
~ ex-offenders to help them assimilate back into the world of work and earning an honest living.
~ people on the receiving end of redundancy to pick themselves up and find a new niche in life
~ students to help them define their career objectives, life goals and values....their Ikigai
~ young adults setting up their own businesses

I have coached:
~ senior executive team members setting strategies and handling media scrutiny
~ managers dealing with difficult people and situations
~sales people struggling through difficult personal challenges

I'm the author of nine books about management, leadership and personal development.

I'm also about to qualify as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language
