My lessons are mainly designed for primary school children and focus on creating a positive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students can enjoy learning Mandarin naturally and confidently. I believe every child learns differently, so I always adjust the lesson pace, teaching style, and content according to each student’s age, personality, learning goals, and current Mandarin level.

My teaching mainly focuses on Traditional Chinese characters, helping students gradually build a strong foundation in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I usually begin with simple Chinese characters, basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and practical daily conversations that children can use in everyday life. This helps students become familiar with sentence structures and feel more comfortable communicating naturally in Mandarin.

For younger beginners, I carefully guide students step by step through character writing, teaching them stroke order one line at a time to help develop recognition, memory, and confidence in writing Chinese characters properly. If needed, I can also teach Zhuyin (Bopomofo / ????) to support pronunciation and reading development, especially for younger children or students who are completely new to Mandarin learning.

As students improve, lessons gradually develop from learning individual characters and vocabulary into short dialogues, reading passages, stories, and longer articles. For students with stronger language ability or interest in Chinese culture, I can also introduce traditional Chinese literature and Tang poetry, helping children experience the beauty of rhythm, pronunciation, and cultural expression in a fun and accessible way.

I enjoy creating lessons that combine language learning with creativity, interaction, and encouragement, allowing children to learn in a relaxed atmosphere while building confidence, curiosity, communication skills, and cultural understanding step by step.
