Ruby Cook

Hello everyone! My name is Ruby, and I’m excited to speak with you. I come from a small county in England called Wiltshire. English is my native language, and my passion for it led me to pursue further studies. I achieved an A* in my English A-level and completed an EPQ during sixth form.

Teaching others brings me joy, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge with you. Alongside my studies at university, I enjoy going to the gym, boxing, and playing football.

I’m on my way to becoming TEFL certified, and I have experience tutoring younger students. My goal is to make learning simple and enjoyable. I’m friendly and patient, so you’ll feel comfortable during our lessons.

I'm more than happy to adapt our sessions to fit your needs and ensure the best learning experience for you. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and student-centred. I believe that students learn most effectively when they feel comfortable, engaged, and genuinely enjoy the learning process. Rather than creating unnecessary pressure, I aim to build confidence by encouraging questions, celebrating progress, and adapting lessons to each student's individual needs and learning style.

I strive to make every session enjoyable, interactive, and motivating, and can assure you that student comfort is my upmost priority. By creating a positive learning environment, I help students develop not only a stronger understanding of the subject but also greater confidence in their own abilities. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling accomplished, motivated, and excited to continue learning.
