My GCSE Chemistry lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying strengths and areas for improvement through informal assessment or discussion, so we can focus on the topics that will make the biggest difference. Each session typically starts with a quick recap of previous content to reinforce understanding and improve long-term retention. I break down complex topics—such as bonding, quantitative chemistry, and required practicals—into clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples, visual explanations, and guided practice to ensure students fully understand the concepts before moving on. We regularly apply knowledge through exam-style questions, helping students become familiar with mark schemes and learn how to structure high-scoring answers. Having achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE Chemistry myself, I understand the demands of the course and what examiners look for. I share effective revision strategies, memory techniques, and exam tips that helped me succeed. My lessons are supportive and interactive. I encourage questions at every stage and create a positive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and independent study skills that will benefit students beyond their exams.
