About me

Art is a rich, layered subject, and my lessons are designed to help you explore it with confidence and curiosity. Whether you want to refine existing skills or try something completely new—drawing, painting, collage, graphic design, or written analysis—each lesson is structured to support steady growth through practice, experimentation, and guided feedback.

What to expect in my lessons:
We begin by identifying your goals and the specific areas you’d like to strengthen. From there, lessons follow a clear but flexible format: a short demonstration or explanation of a technique, followed by hands-on practice tailored to your level. We explore composition, colour theory, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving, while also building technical skills such as shading, layout, and digital design fundamentals. I also incorporate analysis tasks to help you understand why certain artistic choices work—and how you can apply them in your own projects.

My teaching style is supportive and adaptive. Everyone learns differently, so I adjust activities, pacing, and techniques to match the way you absorb information most effectively. Some lessons involve structured exercises, while others focus on open-ended creative exploration, depending on what keeps you engaged and progressing.

I bring to these sessions an A grade at A-Level in Graphic Design and an A grade in GCSE Art, along with years of experience studying and practicing visual communication across multiple mediums.

In my classroom, there is no single “right” or “wrong” way to make art—only your way. As Picasso said, “Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” Here, you’ll have the space, guidance, and encouragement to do exactly that.
