I've been teaching for many years now - both English and music (flute).

For English lessons I've taught young children, helping them deal with phonics and primary-school English right up to teaching GCSE English to teenagers who need a bit of direction.

In teaching flute lessons I've taught students of all ages and abilities

I've seen how important it is for students to feel relaxed in my lessons so they're comfortable asking questions if they don't understand something.

Students have had different aims a lot of the time - sometimes studying for formal exams or sometimes just wanting to explore something they enjoy and I try to focus on particular areas they either like or need help with.
