Micro teaching- 10 minute lessons based on a specific topic or subject in order to grasp an immediate basic understanding. These type of sessions include around 3 minutes of me talking at the start and then a 5 minute interactive activity for the student where they put the knowledge to the test, it will then finish with a 2 minute conclusion. This is only for small topics

Lessons in general- asking the student what they need support with most and focusing explicitly on that, this knowledge then will be retested through verbal correspondence back to me showing that they have grasped an understanding. I find that power points that are interactive are particularly useful, specifically the inclusion of images and videos as history is not just about what you see but how what you see makes you feel and what it makes you think
