For my lessons I like to start with a small lead-in. This may be a quick game or discussing a few photos. The idea is it will be relevant to the content of the lesson.

My main lesson will be centred around one or two authentic materials. This may be a reading or a listening. From there we will dive into the vocabulary discussed and the grammar used.

Throughout the lesson the focus will be on helping develop your verbal communication so I will encourage a conversation as much as possible.
I will also ensure key language points are highlighted and that new vocabulary is noted down.

The lesson will end as you put to use what you have learned in the time with a productive activity that involves creativity and pushing your language abilities.


Generally I like to use a presentation format supplemented with sheets and videos. However, the dynamic you can expect is informal and conversation based. My main goal is to get you using your English as much as possible in an environment where there is little pressure and you feel supported.
