As an Spanish teacher with 17 years of experience, I know that the most important thing is to adapt to the needs of the students, that is why I always offer materials that are useful and meaningful. In my classes my students watch short movies and videos, reading different kind of texts (depending on what they need), and they also listen to audios. I explain grammar if it is necessary, but the most important thing is speaking. My students and me always practice oral expression exercises in class so they feel more an more comfortable speaking in Spanish.
