My lessons are pupil-focused, meaning they are shaped around the individual needs, strengths, and goals of each student. I teach A Level History, Sociology, and Politics, as well as GCSE History, and I strongly believe that learning is most effective when students feel heard, supported, and actively involved in the process. Whether a student prefers discussion, visual learning, guided notes, or structured exam practice, I adapt my teaching style and resources to suit them. Lessons are interactive and engaging, often involving retrieval tasks, debate, source analysis, or breakdowns of key concepts and case studies, all delivered in manageable, focused segments. That said, while my approach is flexible and tailored, I also ensure that every lesson includes everything needed to succeed academically. If a student needs a more structured, content-heavy session or clear step-by-step exam guidance, I have that fully prepared. From detailed revision materials to past papers, model answers, essay plans, and mark scheme breakdowns, I can provide all the tools necessary to pass or achieve top grades. I make sure students are confident in exam technique, essay writing, critical thinking, and content knowledge.
