In my lessons, I like to create a friendly and interactive atmosphere where students can be comfortable asking any questions that come to their mind without fear or hesitation. I usually tend to break the ice and warm up with a short introduction to get students thinking about the topic. I used to build structured lessons that included clear explanations, examples, and practical exercises.
Because of my background in pharmacy and nutrition, I often include real-life examples related to health, science, and daily life to make learning more meaningful. For English lessons, I focus on improving communication skills through reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities.
I depend on active learning and thinking out of the box methods to create excitement during learning.
I know very well that each student learns differently, so I always adapt the lesson content and pace to their level and goals.
My experience volunteering as an English teacher has taught me the importance of encouragement and positive feedback. I want all my students to feel free and comfortable with confidence to enjoy the learning process. Regarding subjects like science, I include a mix of activities, such as problem-solving exercises, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on experiments where possible and safe, to keep students focused and motivated. I also encourage asking open questions to ignite the spirit of curiosity in their characters, and explore the topic at their own pace.
I have a firm belief that, being your own teacher and having great outcomes from that, makes you a great one for others.
