Rohan Pandit

I’m a Computing MEng graduate from Imperial College London with a strong background in maths and computer science. I’ve always loved understanding how things work, from solving equations to building systems, and I bring that same curiosity and clarity into my lessons.

What makes my tutoring stand out is my focus on understanding and efficiency. I help students grasp the reasoning behind each topic, while also teaching methods that save time and reduce mistakes. My approach blends solid theory with practical exam techniques so students can tackle problems confidently and accurately.

Having learned from many excellent teachers myself, I know how powerful the right explanation can be. I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, share targeted resources for independent practice, and make sure every concept feels clear before moving on.

Whether the goal is higher grades or stronger problem-solving skills, I aim to help every student reach their full potential with clarity, confidence, and genuine understanding.
I begin each lesson by clearly explaining new topics and making the session interactive to check understanding before moving on to practice questions and more challenging past paper problems. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s ability and learning style to ensure steady progress.

To make learning engaging, I sometimes use online quizzes such as Kahoot to test understanding in a fun way. I can also provide homework on request to help students consolidate what they’ve learned between lessons.

After every session, I share a short report outlining what was covered, the student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and what we plan to work on next.

As exams approach, I incorporate mock exams and timed past paper practice to identify gaps and help students refine their exam technique and confidence.
