'Excellent people management is a combination of good manners and common sense' is the premise of my book, and the foundation of the coaching and mentoring I offer to managers and leaders. Fully qualified to Level 7, and building on a wealth of senior management experience, my coaching style is pragmatic and focuses on developing your ideas and building your confidence through open conversation and discussion. No reliance on fancy business school models, and more focus instead on your concerns and uncovering your full potential. I will be asking lots of open questions, listening intently (not judging), and with simple prompts, enable you to realise what you need to do and that you can do it. Each session will end with some clear action steps and these will be reviewed at the start of the subsequent session. I will apply some pressure to make sure you develop an action plan and actually do it. Otherwise, the sessions are pointless. So, expect to be challenged, stretched and to become a better manager and leader!
