My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to each student's age, ability, and goals. Whether you're in primary school discovering biology for the first time, studying for GCSEs, or aiming for top grades at A-level, I'll adapt lessons to suit your learning style and pace.

I believe biology is much more interesting when you understand the "why" behind things, so I focus on making complex ideas simple and relatable. Lessons are interactive and encourage plenty of questions, discussion, and problem-solving rather than just memorising facts. We might use diagrams, real-world examples, quizzes, or exam-style questions depending on what works best for you.

For younger students, I aim to build confidence and curiosity through fun and engaging activities. For GCSE and A-level students, I place a strong emphasis on understanding key concepts, applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions, and developing effective exam technique.
Having studied biology extensively myself, I understand the challenges students can face and how to break difficult topics down into manageable steps.

My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing in confidence.
Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling that biology makes a little more sense than it did before and with the confidence to tackle the next challenge.

I also understand that every student learns differently, so I am always happy to adjust my teaching approach based on individual needs and preferences. Building a positive student-tutor relationship is important to me, as students often make the most progress when they feel supported, motivated, and comfortable sharing their thoughts and questions.
