Ciao a tutti! My name is Roberta, my mother tongue is Italian and I have been living in England for 26 years.

My Italian lessons are offered to students of any ability and any age- at the moment, my youngest student is 5 and my older in her late seventies!
In addition to private tutoring, I support school children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) which complete my knowledge of how languages work and how they should be taught and learned.

I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and rewarding, whatever your starting point. I can create for you a friendly and supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace.
I also believe that learning a language is much more than memorising vocabulary and grammar rules. It is about building confidence, enjoying communication and discovering a different way of seeing the world. Having lived in England for many years while maintaining strong connections with Italy, I understand the experience of living between two cultures. I enjoy sharing my language, traditions and personal experiences with my students, while encouraging questions and curiosity.
