I like to begin my lessons by briefly talking about how your past week has been, so that we can get to know each other as well as learn Italian. In our first session, I will ask you if you already know some Italian, and if so to tell me what you are confident in. I will also find out why you want to learn Italian and what your end goal is, so that I can ensure I am passing on knowledge that will actually be useful. For example, if you are a college student working towards their Italian A-Level, we will look at the syllabus together and follow the specific topics and grammar points you need to know. I am also confident in helping with Independent Research Projects at A-Level, as I have done one myself and have helped others with theirs. If you are a complete beginner, I will start by teaching you basic words and phrases, as well as the present tense. As we will have already discussed your Italian goals, I will devise lesson plans to help you achieve these goals, therefore all of my lessons will be specifically tailored to you. A GCSE or A-Level student will recieve lessons based on their syllabus, but someone who wants to learn Italian for personal reasons will have a choice in the topics they wish to cover. I am very confident in teaching Italian, especially at GCSE and A-Level, as I am a native Italian speaker and am also currently doing a BA in Italian Studies at university. I have experience with homework help for students up to A-Level, and can teach a very wide range of tenses and vocabulary. I am confident in my Italian, and with my help, you will be too!
