My lesson style is conversational, with the use of key definitions, formulae and explanations, followed by worked examples and questions for you to have a go at in Iesson and between lessons. I make extensive use of the online whiteboard, websites, calculators, as well as good old pen and paper.

I have experience helping students at Functional skills, Foundation level GCSE and Higher Levels GCSE attain their goals.

You will have lessons tailored to you, and will find you are confident to ask me about anything you do not understand, and will always receive a thorough explanation, filling any gaps in your knowledge.

When I am not teaching Maths, I can be found teaching Economics, and I am currently working as a Maths instructor in schools while completing my MSc in Econometrics. Economics is the study of production and allocation of goods and services (who gets what and how do we make it?), and Econometrics is essentially just statistics as used in Economics.

I have been tutoring Maths and Economics for nearly 20 years now, and since 2024 have been teaching in schools too. My knowledge of the syllabus up to GCSE is without fault, and my ability to explain seemingly complicated matters in a simple and clear manner sets me apart as an exception tutor and teacher.
