My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding the student’s current level, areas they find challenging and what they would like to achieve. I then structure lessons around those goals, while keeping the sessions engaging and comfortable. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons can include grammar and vocabulary, reading and comprehension, writing practice, speaking and pronunciation, or general communication skills. I like to explain concepts clearly, use practical examples and encourage students to actively participate rather than simply memorising information. For younger students, I can make lessons more interactive through conversations, exercises, short reading activities and creative tasks. For older students, I can focus more on academic writing, essay structure, comprehension, vocabulary, exam preparation and developing confidence in spoken and written English. As someone who completed my entire schooling and five-year law degree in English, followed by postgraduate study in the UK, I have extensive experience using English academically and professionally. My legal education also required substantial reading, research, writing, presentations and communication, which has given me strong experience in using English accurately and effectively. I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can steadily improve their English while becoming more confident in using it independently.
