Lessons are developed to be both informative and fun, using a mix of solo activities and discussion to ensure all content is understood. I work my hardest to make sure all students feel comfortable telling me if things are not understood and work alongside the students to figure out what best works for them.
Lessons will typically use a short presentation about the topic being studied followed by a series of activities ranging from MCQ’s to short essay questions to determine the student’s understanding of the content being taught.
Short breaks will be given between activities to ensure students do not burn out. Additionally, I aim to have full conversations with students and parents/guardians (where necessary) to ensure cohesiveness and safety, such as being made aware of any learning difficulties or something such as anxiety over long conversations. It is my job to not only teach but make students feels safe and comfortable to learn.
