I usually start by getting to know my student and their goals, we write a plan of what we want to achieve and slowly work through it, the whatever pace is chosen, we can look over something more urgent then just the plan or only choose something when it comes to lesson times, depending on what we are achieving, I will follow specification for example for GCSEs I will look at the exam board and make sure you are well prepared for the exam. We will do a range of learning methods and depending on what you find most useful we can stick to that or switch it up whenever. Starting off with learning content then practice questions and exam technique (if applicable) and will incorporate fun learning methods like pop quizzes, games includes snakes and ladders and bingo to reinforce learned content. My biggest experience is with teaching children 12 and under where I taught kickboxing so I am used to understanding children however I will gladly tutor anyone of any ages as I have experience will many different age groups and abilities as I worked as a martial arts coach for 5 years so I have the patience and skill to ensure that you meet all your language goals. Everything depends on your own personal goals when it comes to my tutor sessions and if there is anything in particular I am able to adapt to your needs!
