I am originally from a lovely little village located north from Paris, and have studied for two years in the city of Le Havre, in Normandy. There I studied social and political sciences alongside many international students, and loved it! I take any occasion to travel in Europe and discover new cultures.
Now I am in exchange in the War Studies department of King's College. Being patient and soft, but also rigorous and straightforward, I would love to take advantage of this year to help people learn French language and culture in a relaxed manner! The format of the class truly depends on the level and needs of the student and can range from basic audio/written sources with vocabulary and grammatical explanations to an open chat on any subject. I would like, as much as possible, to use dynamic and fun sources and formats to teach.
I studied for two years in SciencesPo, which puts a lot of emphasis on oral skills: I made dozens of presentations on academic subjects and had specific training on "public speaking" with a professional actress, which provided me with a lot of interesting tips on the matter. Also, I participated for two years in the creation of a parliamentary model in Le Havre, which of course included a lot of public speaking in a political context. Therefore, I can provide you with some tips if you are stressed out by oral presentations and job interviews! It can take the form of little games, depending on what you would feel comfortable about!
Finally, I can help you prepare the admission procedure of SciencesPo Paris, if you are interested in joining that school!
