I have tutored for a few students especially for those who needed help in biology. After i have got a good understanding on the syllabus topics, i chart out a learning pattern for the students according to the general ability of my students to learn biology. For examples, the use of experimental methods or similar situations help students relate concerning topics such as biological mechanisms and theories. To further improve their memory and understanding of the topic,a periodic test would be conducted which would also help me help them to understand the level at which my students stand. Thus providing me the necessary information about each student so that i could help them improve their understanding of the subject at individual levels. Topics in biology are confusing to students due to their lack of ability to recall scientific names and biological mechanisms, lack of purpose or interest and finally the purpose of education.
Through my course, these essential goals will be addressed systematically to help them achieve their academic goals with flying colours. In my experience, i have found these steps incredibly effective, provided there exists a productive communication between students and me.
