Sessions are one-to-one and built entirely around you — your goals, your experience, your pace. There's no fixed syllabus. What we cover depends on where you are and where you want to go.

For complete beginners, that might mean starting with how to see before we ever talk about settings — learning to read a scene, understand light, and develop the instinct that makes a good photograph before the technical side gets in the way.

For photographers who've been shooting for a while, it might mean looking at your archive together, identifying patterns in your work you haven't noticed yet, and building toward a personal project or body of work.

Sessions can be held in person — on the streets of London or wherever you're based — or remotely if that works better for you. A photowalk and a conversation over your work are equally valid starting points.

Topics I can work with you on include: shooting on the street, managing and reading your archive, printing your work, developing a personal project, and taking that project through to a finished publication.

The one thing that stays constant across all of it is the approach — concept first. We start with what you're looking for. The camera follows from there.
