I am a student at the University of Exeter, completing my degree in social sciences. I have just returned from placement at a top US Law firm in London. I am a high performing student across the humanities subjects, ranking in the top 1% of my cohort at college for two subjects. I achieved A*,A*,A,A in my A Levels (Modern History, Sociology, English Literature & Language).

I have had extensive experience in tutoring children and young adults, both professionally and personally. As a watersport's instructor, I taught children of all ages and backgrounds various watersports, helping them gain confidence in the water. I also served as a mentor for Future Frontiers during my placement year, assisting students in making post-GCSE choices. Currently, I am a mentor for CoachBright and I tutor year 10 students English. With all of these experiences, I have cultivated strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills, which I believe would make me a successful tutor for your child.

Choosing the right tutor is a crucial decision, and my goal is to make that decision easier for you. I am not just an academic achiever but also a mentor and guide who can inspire and empower your child to reach their full potential. Engaging with young individuals and witnessing the remarkable strides they make is what fuels my passion for tutoring. My recent journey allows me to empathise with the challenges faced by these young learners. I can relate to their perspective and offer feedback that resonates with them, facilitating their comprehension and growth.

I have a great love for English Language and English Literature and can tutor a wide range of the humanities subjects from 11+ to A Levels. My tutoring approach is tailored to meet your child's unique needs. I will address any questions they find challenging, provide examples of the types of questions they will encounter, and discuss techniques while practicing with their assistance.

Furthermore, my teaching approach includes in-depth discussions of techniques and strategies for answering questions effectively. This not only helps students improve their performance but also equips them with the tools they need to approach similar challenges independently. I firmly believe in the importance of nurturing not just subject knowledge but also the skills and techniques that can be applied to a broader spectrum of subjects and future learning endeavors.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you'd like to discuss how I can support your child's academic journey.
