My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each learner. With a Master’s degree in Special Education and six years of teaching experience in both primary and kindergarten settings, I focus on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student can succeed at their own pace.
Each lesson is carefully planned but remains flexible to respond to the learner’s progress and needs. I use a combination of clear explanations, visual aids, hands-on activities, and repetition where necessary to ensure understanding and retention. For younger learners, especially in kindergarten and early primary levels, I incorporate play-based and interactive methods to keep them motivated and engaged while building foundational skills.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. I break down complex concepts into smaller, manageable steps and provide plenty of examples to support understanding. I also regularly check for comprehension and adjust my teaching strategies accordingly.
In terms of content, I cover early literacy, numeracy, communication skills, and foundational knowledge across subjects, while also supporting learners with additional educational needs through differentiated instruction.
Overall, my lessons are dynamic, learner-centred, and designed to build confidence, independence, and a strong educational foundation. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically at their own pace.
