I am a current Physics undergraduate at the University of Portsmouth, achieving a high First-class average, and I specialise in helping GCSE students strengthen both their conceptual understanding and exam technique.

Physics can feel intimidating, especially when you understand the content but still lose some marks in exams. I work particularly well with capable students who are underperforming, often because they misread questions or give strong answers to the wrong prompts. A major focus of my lessons is understanding how examiners think and how mark schemes are structured, so students learn to spot cues, answer precisely, and gain the marks they deserve.

I primarily support AQA GCSE Physics students, while remaining flexible across specifications. Lessons are tailored to individual needs and can focus on theory, worked examples, or exam-style questions depending on what will help most. My goal is not memorisation, but clarity, breaking concepts down so they genuinely make sense.

Each session includes structured guidance, active problem-solving, and a short follow-up summary to reinforce progress. I aim to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel they understand the subject and are less overwhelmed.

At £25 per hour, I provide personalised, thoughtful support designed to build confidence, independence, and long-term improvement in Physics.

I also offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation to discuss goals, strengths, and areas for development, ensuring we are the right fit before the beginning. My aim is steady, measurable progress, helping students move forward with clarity, resilience, and a genuine confidence in their abilities.
