How to start my introduction, I would take into consideration the phonetic, and vocabulary. My experience tells me that when people do not know how to pronounce the words or would try to say it in its navite language and it is normal because they do not know another code. So the best is to master the phonetic and practice constantly.
Vocabulary in every lesson, motivating them to practice in and out class session, specially what they just learn.
Videos with subtitles in spanish or without them, even I tried watching them and helped me a lot to improve my hearing skills in English and I felt my improvement skyrocketed without knowing.
Didactique activities where they would develop their hearing and speaking skills, because they do not put students to speak in class or try to do it, they just teach grammar, but you should not think that grammar is not important. You Just have in consideration that you need to understand slowly how to structure the Spanish language.
I should use images and context to assimilate new phrases and words, In mi opinion it helps to learn new vocabulary and understand the meaning quickly.
Motivate the students to practice by themselves throughout assignments or by own will, so they can get gaining more confidence and develop faster their hearing, speaking, writhing skills.
Don't be afraid to learn, in the beginning in difficult. However you would feel comfortable when you start a understand and speak more naturally.
