My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I usually start by checking in on what they’re currently working on in school or where they’re struggling, then we focus on breaking those topics down in a clear and manageable way. For English, that might mean going through past papers, analyzing texts together, improving essay structure, or building stronger answers for comprehension questions. For Science, we might focus on understanding key concepts, simplifying definitions, practicing exam-style questions, or going over tricky topics using visuals and real-life examples.

I like to keep lessons interactive rather than lecture-style. I’ll ask questions, encourage discussion, and use examples that match the student’s interests when possible—it helps things stick better. I often use a shared whiteboard, screen sharing, or short activities to keep the lessons engaging and clear. Whether it’s building strong foundation knowledge or boosting exam confidence, I aim to support students in a way that suits their pace and learning style.

I’ve always had a natural instinct to help others learn—whether it was helping friends revise for GCSEs or explaining difficult topics to younger students. I genuinely enjoy teaching and take pride in seeing students have those “lightbulb moments” when something finally makes sense.

I’m patient, approachable, and happy to go over something as many times as needed. My priority is that the student feels heard, supported, and steadily more confident after each session. I’m here not just to teach the subject, but to build the student’s belief in their ability to succeed. Learning shouldn’t feel intimidating, and I try to make sure every lesson leaves the student feeling more capable than before.
