I’m a PhD student in Biotechnology in Nottingham, with over 5 years of experience giving lessons in Biology, Biotechnology, and Scientific Writing. I aim to make my lessons interactive, personalised, and approachable — whether you need help understanding biological concepts, structuring essays, or mastering exam techniques. I am very good at helping studying for exams!

I studied Biotechnology Engineering, so I can provide a well-rounded perspective on both biology and its applications in engineering, making connections between theory and practical real-world uses. I also understand how challenging scientific writing can be, so I can help you write clear, structured essays that meet academic standards — from brainstorming ideas to perfecting your final draft.

In my lessons, I prioritise breaking down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. I like to keep things flexible and engaging, adapting each session to your learning style and goals. I have a lot of resources to share, and can design resources specifically for you.

Being Mexican, I can also support students who are bilingual or learning Spanish. This can be particularly helpful for understanding technical terms in both languages if you are interested in studying or living abroad.

I work with students at any level, whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, or university assignments. My focus is on helping you build confidence in your knowledge and problem-solving skills.
