My maths lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. I begin by identifying areas of strength and topics that need improvement, then create a structured plan to help students build confidence and achieve their targets.
Lessons are interactive and focused on understanding concepts rather than simply memorising methods. I explain topics step by step, work through examples together, and provide plenty of practice questions to reinforce learning. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable tackling challenging problems.
I tutor a range of mathematical topics, from basic numeracy and algebra to more advanced GCSE content. Lessons can also include exam preparation, revision strategies, and guidance on approaching different types of questions efficiently.
My teaching approach emphasises patience, clear explanations, and regular feedback. I aim to help students not only improve their grades but also develop problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of mathematics that will benefit them beyond exams.
