What makes my lessons different is the way I bring Business to life while keeping a strong focus on helping students achieve the grades they want. I do not believe students learn best through endless textbook reading or memorising definitions without understanding them. Instead, I create lessons that are engaging, interactive and memorable by using humour, discussion and real-world business examples that students actually relate to.
I am a practised and engaging educator with expert subject knowledge in Business and Marketing, alongside extensive teaching experience and a First-Class (1:1) degree in Business Management and Marketing. I specialise in breaking down difficult concepts into simple explanations that make sense to students of all abilities. For example, I may explain branding and customer loyalty through companies such as Apple and Nike, teach market structures using Netflix and McDonald’s, or explore marketing strategy through current social media trends, influencers and viral campaigns. This helps students understand not only the theory, but why it matters in the real world.
My lessons are highly personalised and focused on results. I support students with exam preparation, coursework, revision planning, essay structure and exam technique, helping them understand exactly what examiners are looking for. I place a strong emphasis on developing confidence, critical thinking and application skills so students can write stronger answers and move towards the grades they are aiming for.
Students often describe my teaching style as more relaxed, approachable and confidence-building than traditional classroom learning. I encourage questions, discussion and curiosity, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning from mistakes and developing their understanding.
I also strongly believe in lifelong learning. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent grades, but to inspire a genuine interest in Business, Marketing and the world around them, giving them skills and knowledge that extend far beyond the classroom.
