I started teaching in 1997 and have taught in all age groups from 2 to 11. Since I started teaching I have been a Deputy Head for 9 1/2 years in two different schools and a Head Teacher for 11 years in a rural, village location with two successful Ofsteds during my time there. For the past 5 years I have been a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Leader (SENCO) alongside my Headship. I have also been a safeguarding officer and the Designated Teacher for Children in Care for many years.
I am a member of The Tutor Association (TTA) and the Out of School Alliance.
