Hello everyone,

I have 2 years experience mentoring A level students through the Zero Gravity Platform with their university applications to medical and life sciences courses accross the UK. For the past 3 years I have also worked with Jesus College Oxford and the University of Oxford Admissions team to deliver access initiatives to year 12/13 students accross the UK. As part of this, I have delivered seminars, Q&As and tours which have given me the confidence and experience to improve my teaching style for these year groups in particular. I have also become attuned to what makes for a robust university application so I can also advise on this alongside covering A-level or GCSE content!

I prefer my lessons to be a collaboration between teacher and student, as I have found this is the best way to cover the things you really don't understand. What this means in practice is that I will ask you what you would like to go through, and we will have check ins throughout the session to make sure we are happy with the progress and, if not, change the learning style or technique we are using. This ensures the sessions are dynamic and individually suited to your needs. Also, in my lessons there is absolutely no such thing as a silly question! I have asked pretty much every question to my teachers over the years (from very basic to sophisticated) and I believe the best way we learn is by always remaining curious.
