The first and the foremost thing while teaching is to step down to the level of the student and understand to what extent he has the knowledge or concept of the particular topic and then you start building their concepts and upgrade them slowly to the desired level, even if it takes time but you have to give your patience as every student has a different pace of pick up and thats how you make them all equal. The idea of each topic comes with some interesting background and history, knowing from the invention stage to the execution and implementation in practical life, thats how a student develops interest in learning new things.
