My lessons are interactive, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding the student’s current level and identifying areas they find challenging. We then work through concepts step by step using clear explanations, questioning, examples and visual resources.
I encourage students to actively participate throughout the lesson rather than simply listening. I use questions, discussions, problem-solving activities and exam-style questions to check understanding and help students develop confidence in applying what they have learned.
I can adapt lessons according to the student’s goals, whether they need help with a particular area, homework, revision, exam preparation or building their overall understanding. I teach Physics across the GCSE curriculum and A-Level Physics, and can also support students in Biology and Chemistry.
I have a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, an MSc in Biomaterials and a PGCE in Secondary Science, along with classroom teaching experience. I aim to create a friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving their understanding.
