Every student wants something different, so the first lesson is mostly me finding out what you need. Some people come to me preparing for a job interview or wanting to sound more confident in meetings; I teach Business English to working professionals and enjoy that kind of focused, practical work. Others want to improve generally, build vocabulary, or simply have someone patient to talk to each week. All of it is welcome.
I also teach teenagers and have plenty of experience with younger learners who’d rather be doing almost anything else. Before EF, I spent three months teaching full time at a youth centre in Bethlehem, with classes ranging from eleven-year-olds to adults in their fifties, often in the same room. It taught me to adapt quickly and to make lessons work for whoever is actually in front of me.
I’m relaxed, easy to talk to, and genuinely interested in my students. If that sounds like a good fit, get in touch.
