I’m an experienced Islamic educator with over 13 years of teaching experience specializing in Qur’an with Tajweed, Arabic language, and Islamic Studies for students of different ages and backgrounds.
I was born and raised in the United States, and I combine traditional Islamic scholarship with modern teaching methods. I hold a Qur’an Ijazah and Hifz certification from UAE Awqaf, along with a BA in Islamic Studies, a Postgraduate Certification, and a Master’s in Islamic Studies (MAIS). I am also a certified teacher with formal teacher training and a Google Certified Educator, which helps me create engaging and effective online learning environments.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with children and families from many cultures and countries, including 3 years serving as a Head of Department in schools. My experience in Early Years Education has helped me develop a teaching style that is especially effective with young learners.
My approach focuses on making learning interactive, comfortable, and meaningful. I love teaching children and believe that learning Qur’an and Islam should feel joyful and natural rather than stressful or difficult. I use engaging activities, discussions, and age-appropriate methods so students truly understand the beauty of Islam and can naturally incorporate it into their daily lives.
I strive to create productive yet fun lessons, while also encouraging positive habits such as confidence, discipline, curiosity, and strong learning skills that benefit students beyond the classroom.
I am fluent in English (native), Urdu/Hindi (native), Arabic (professional proficiency), and Kashmiri, which allows me to comfortably teach students from diverse backgrounds.
I look forward to helping students build a strong connection with the Qur’an, develop proper Tajweed, understand Islamic teachings, and grow in both knowledge and character.

As a mother of two, I personally love spending my free time with youths and teens—sharing and discussing social issues, peer pressure, teen problems and help them glide through their era smoothly, assiting parents with Islamic Parenting and young sisters with marriage advice, solving social issues through community service and socialzing also defines me.
