I’m a UK-trained Doctor, clinical teacher and coach, and my sessions are designed to bridge the gap between knowing medicine and confidently applying it in real life.
Whether you’re preparing for an OSCE or viva, starting clinical placements, facing ALS, adapting to UK clinical practice, preparing for a medical school interview, or simply want to feel more confident when faced with a patient — we can practise it together.
My sessions are particularly suited to medical students, junior doctors and international doctors working or preparing to work in the UK.
HOW I CAN HELP
Depending on what you need, we can work on:
** Clinical reasoning and approaching unfamiliar cases
** OSCE and viva practice
** Acute and deteriorating patient scenarios
** ABCDE assessment and ALS preparation
** Presenting patients and structured handovers
** Communication with patients, colleagues and senior doctors
** Knowing when and how to escalate concerns
** Medical school interview and MMI practice
** Building confidence for clinical placements and on-calls
** Adapting to working within the UK healthcare system
** Career mentoring and navigating life in medicine
MY EXPERIENCE
My background combines clinical medicine, teaching and coaching.
My teaching experience includes:
** Teaching medical students and junior doctors
** Teaching and practising Advanced Life Support and acute clinical scenarios
** Educational supervision and mentoring
** Online teaching, talks and workshops
** One-to-one coaching across medicine, wellbeing and personal development
Because I also have a coaching background, I don’t just focus on whether you know the “right answer”.
I help you explore how you think, communicate, respond under pressure and build confidence through practice.
WHAT ARE MY SESSIONS LIKE?
++ Practical and interactive
These aren’t lectures.
We’ll work through scenarios, cases, mock OSCE/viva stations, interviews or clinical situations and practise what you would actually SAY and DO.
I may give you a scenario and ask:
“What are you thinking?”
“What would you do next?”
“What are you worried about?”
“Who would you call — and what would you say?”
This allows us to identify gaps and improve your reasoning in real time.
++ Personalised to YOU
You don’t need another generic medical course.
Tell me your level, what you’re preparing for and where you currently lack confidence. We’ll use our time on what will make the biggest difference to you.
If there’s a particular scenario, topic or situation you’ve found difficult, bring it with you and we can work through it together.
++ A safe place to practise
Sometimes the hardest part of learning medicine is feeling as though you should already know the answer.
My sessions give you somewhere to ask questions, get things wrong, stop, think, try again and practise without judgement.
This can be particularly valuable for international doctors who already have medical knowledge and experience but want to become more comfortable with UK clinical practice, communication and expectations.
++ Feedback you can immediately use
Rather than simply telling you what you could improve, we’ll practise it again.
The goal is for you to leave each session feeling clearer and more confident than when you arrived.
YOU BRING THE PROBLEM. WE PRACTISE THE SOLUTION.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfect study plan.
Bring me the OSCE you’re worried about.
The upcoming ALS course.
The interview.
The patient scenario that confused you.
The conversation with a senior you’re nervous about.
The on-call situation you don’t feel ready for.
Or simply:
“I know the medicine, but I don’t feel confident yet.”
That’s something we can work on.
My aim isn’t simply to help you know more medicine.
It’s to help you become calmer, clearer and more confident using what you know when it matters.
