Rachelle Ojomo

Hi, I’m Rachelle! I studied Spanish at university and have lived in both Spain and Argentina, giving me first-hand experience of everyday Spanish, regional differences and the cultures behind the language. I also bring years of tutoring experience and a patient, encouraging approach.

My lessons are interactive and tailored to your level, interests and goals. Whether you’re starting from scratch, need support with schoolwork or want to build confidence in conversation, we’ll work at a pace that suits you.

A typical lesson includes a short recap, a new topic, guided practice and conversation to put your learning into action. We can work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar through practical exercises, discussions and everyday scenarios.

I draw on my experiences in Spain and Argentina to make lessons relevant and bring the language to life. You’ll have plenty of space to ask questions, make mistakes and practise, with clear explanations and constructive feedback to help you progress.

We’ll also explore Spanish through topics you enjoy, such as music, food, travel and film, so you can build vocabulary that feels useful to you. Having learnt the language myself and used it while living abroad, I understand how daunting speaking can feel, and I’ll help you become more comfortable expressing yourself.

Depending on your goals, I can suggest short activities between lessons to reinforce your learning. We’ll regularly review your progress together and revisit anything you find tricky, making sure you have a strong foundation as we introduce new material.
