My lessons are adapted for each student. However, in general I have a started recapping the previous session to encourage long-term learning. I will then encourage the student to explain the concept we are learning to the best of their knowledge and then fill in any gaps or fix misconceptions. We then work through activities or exam questions together whilst highlighting the reasoning behind the answer or key skills examiners may be looking for. This could include marking and fixing model answers, past questions and fill in the blanks. I conclude the session with a summary and outline for the next session.
