I enage with the student to learn about there needs are, from a leaning standpoint.
I will then tailor a lesson plan around these requirements, to ensure that the student is able to enjoy and feel comftable within the lesson, and engage, learn and participate, to there full capacity.
I ensure a relaxed and fluid environment is created, and that students can be themselves, and create the work they are inspired to, that they feel able to have a platform in which they can express themselves through the medium of art.
Over 20 years I have taught art to SEN students to A level students, all have come away with a new passion for certian aspects of the from they didn't know they had, as well as the capacity and skill set to devlop these skills further, after there time woth me has ended.
