My lessons are always student-centred and collaborative - I want you to get the most out of our sessions together. I have years of experience teaching children and adults from different backgrounds and abilities; I have taught A - Level and tutored at degree level, and have also taught adults with little to no English skills or knowledge. It is important to create a fun, stimulating and safe environment, whether this is online or in person, and my lessons are always reflective of this. My vast range of experience enables me to shape and plan lessons to suit your learning needs, and I'm a very reflective and adaptive practitioner. Depending on your requirements, in lessons you can always expect to find a starter or recall task to embed previous learning and other tasks to help you flourish with your skills and knowledge. I have also spent the last few years marking for different exam boards, so if you are looking for GCSE/A-Level tuition then we will spend time investigating the exam board requirements for each paper together - I, and my students, find this really useful to get a real grasp on what the exam papers are demanding of you, and how you can best answer each question. If you are looking for EAL or EFL tuition, then please rest assured as my degree is English and TEFL joint hons, and I also have the highly accredited CELTA, awarded by Cambridge University. At a previous position in a U.K. secondary school, I also led on EAL, so you are in safe hands!
