I have a friendly and empathetic approach and am looking to make learning fun and accessible to help re-engagment. Happy to adapt to a young person's needs. I am passionate to give young people the opportunity to access learning in the way that suits them and to give them a voice to grow in confidence.

My Learning Support Assistant and Tutoring experience gives me the opportunity to support those that get lost in a classroom because the environment doesn't suit them or isn't tailored to their needs. I have worked in mainstream education for over 15 years in-class, one to one and small groups plugging gaps in learning and building confidence. My lessons will go at the pace needed and for the duration that is best for the learner. Each session is tailor made to specific needs and targets.

Mum of 2 teenagers I understand real life pressures and expectations and why school life can feel overwhelming. I can offer support after school or alternative provision for those EOTAS alongside my current tutoring commitments.

Real world experience with autism, ADHD, PDA and SEMH, EOTAS and low attainment. I have been trained in safeguarding Level 2 and PREVENT.

NVQ Level 3, NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health, TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Behaviour that Challenges, Safeguarding Children Level 2, TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism, PDA (the basics, Distressed Behaviours - a PDAers Perspective Part 1.
