I will shape lessons to fit the needs of each individual student. This will include either using specific resources that they would like help with, or finding my own resources to aid their study. I will be guided by which skills each individual student wants to improve. I studied French and Maths at A Level and I am confident in teaching these subjects at GCSE level. I have a passion for both languages and Maths, and this will make my lessons engaging as I hope to pass my enthusiasm on to the student. In regards to Maths, I am happy to help with homework questions, go over topics already covered in class, or provide challenging questions to stretch the student to reach their full potential. In regards to French, the lessons could be used for speaking and pronunciation practice, reading and comprehension activities, grammar and writing practice, or listening activities. I am adaptable and can shape the lessons to the requirements of each student. I have tutored a student in French while at college, and I also have some experience tutoring GCSE Maths. I am friendly and approachable and my lessons will be pressure-free spaces where the aim is to encourage and help the students to be the best that they can be.
