I have over 20 years of experience teaching art across museums, schools, and international programs.

I help students discover confidence and creativity through the arts.

My approach combines fine arts education, expressive arts therapy principles, and the latest insights from neuroaesthetics—the science of how art impacts the brain and emotional development.

Graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Fine Arts Education and have exhibited my own artwork across the globe. I know what it takes to excel in art classes at every grade level.

I’ve taught learners of all ages, from early childhood through adulthood, in the San Diego Unified School District, the New Children’s Museum, and the Institute of Contemporary Art San Diego. My lessons are hands-on, culturally responsive, and designed to nurture social-emotional intelligence alongside artistic skill.

I create customized art curricula and workshops that explore a range of media—painting, clay, drama, music, dance, nature-based arts, and bookmaking— so students can develop their own unique artistic voice.
