As someone who has studied music throughout my life and achieved distinctions in all grades of the ABRSM Rock & Pop vocal exams, I understand both the technical and creative aspects of learning music. Always finding new approaches tailored to your goal! Covering basic music theory and building it into vocal and composition context. I aim to create an expressive environment for confidence to grow whilst improving vocal technique, performance skills, music theory and being prepared for exams. Lessons can include vocal exercises, songwriting, performance coaching, music theory support, and help with coursework or listening analysis depending on the student’s needs. Alongside achieving high grades in GCSE and IB music, I am currently working towards my bachelors in music performance, songwriting and production, allowing me to bring modern industry knowledge and practical experience working alongside musicians. I can also help students develop their listening and analysis skills, prepare for performances and exams, and build confidence in expressing themselves creatively. Depending on the student’s interests, lessons may also explore recording techniques, stage presence, artist development, and contemporary music styles. I can help students build effective practice routines, improve musical confidence, and develop a stronger understanding of how music works in real performance settings. As a current music student actively involved in performance, songwriting, and production, I can also give insight into the modern music industry and help students explore their own artistic identity and creativity. Lessons can be adapted for beginners or more advanced students, and I always focus on creating a positive atmosphere where students feel supported, comfortable making mistakes, and excited to progress.
