I teach online only which means that I listen carefully to what you personally want to achieve from the sessions.
If your goal is to learn basic musical competency then I would encourage you to learn simple, but true singing technique and I would recommend that you have a keyboard- piano or electronic - available for the lessons.
If your goal is to learn how to play a brass instrument then, obviously I would need you to bring the instrument to the online lesson.
I have taught both of these competencies for many years and it is always the case that when the simple priciples of learning music are adopted and practised then confidence and happiness follow.

My career has included more than 40 years of practical, school music teasching (choirs, orchestras, KS2,3 4 & 5 music). 15 of those years were spent heading busy music departments in secondary schools.
Fun, professional competency & humour are essential to my style of teaching.
