Experienced Maths & English Tutor | 11+ Specialist

I am an experienced and dedicated tutor with 8 years of teaching experience supporting children across mainstream education. I specialise in Maths and English, with a particular focus on 11+ preparation.

I tailor my lessons to each child’s individual needs, helping them build strong subject knowledge, improve confidence and develop effective exam techniques. My approach is engaging, patient and supportive, while ensuring students are challenged to reach their full potential.

I have extensive experience helping children strengthen their core Maths and English skills, prepare for 11+ entrance exams, and develop the confidence and independent learning skills needed to succeed both academically and in the classroom.

I also have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and understand that every child learns differently. I use a patient, flexible and encouraging approach, adapting lessons, resources and teaching strategies to suit each child’s individual learning style and needs. My aim is to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident and motivated to learn and make progress.
